Rita A. Montgomery Senior Paralegal / Office Manager

A native of Cincinnati, Rita has been a business immigration paralegal since 1999, specializing in business and IT matters, such as H-1B, L-1, and PERM cases. She is MU’s senior paralegal and often trains new paralegals. In 2017, Rita was promoted to the role of Office Manager. Rita holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Applications.

Jenna R. White Senior Paralegal

Jenna is a business immigration paralegal whose work is concentrated on healthcare and IT matters. Before transitioning into business immigration in January 2004, Jenna worked for nine years as an employment law paralegal with a local Cincinnati firm.

Amy L. Keating Senior Paralegal

Amy began working as a business immigration paralegal in December 2005, after graduating from Ohio Wesleyan with a Bachelor’s degree in English. Amy’s practice is centered on healthcare immigration.

Nicole Black Senior Paralegal

Nicole is a business immigration paralegal with Musillo Unkenholt, focusing much of her practice on healthcare immigration. She first worked as a business immigration paralegal in 2003. She holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.

Annalisa Smith Paralegal

Annalisa serves as a paralegal on business immigration matters, including healthcare based immigration clients. Annalisa has worked with Musillo Unkenholt since 2014. She holds an Associate of Applied Business Degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Cincinnati.

Ellie Hart Paralegal

Ellie began with MU Law in 2015. Here work is centered on the healthcare and business immigration fields. When Ellie is not working, she is an avid horse trainer and competitor, having won awards in various show circles.

Heather Fortine Paralegal

Heather is an immigration paralegal whose practice concentrates on business and healthcare immigration matters. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University, where she was a Summer Scholar. She also obtained a Post Baccalaureate Professional Certificate in Paralegal Technology from the University of Cincinnati in 2016.

Ana Gomez Paralegal

Ana has been a paralegal with MU Law since 2017. A Xavier alumni, who majored in International Studies, she holds a dual major with Spanish, a language in which she is fluent. Ana is a native of the Washington DC area, and has spent considerable time in her family’s home country of Nicaragua.

Candice Creager Paralegal

Candice began working as a paralegal with MU Law in 2017. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s Applied Business Program with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies, where she made the Dean’s List every semester. She was the President of both the UC Clermont Association for Paralegal Studies and the President of the Student Government.

Fabiana Grady Paralegal

A native of Rio de Janeiro, Fabiana has practiced law in Brazil since 2003; she specialized in international and family law. Fabiana immigrated to Cincinnati in 2017 and began working at MU Law.

Heather Beeler Paralegal

Heather began at MU in 2017. She is a full-time student at the University of Cincinnati Applied Business Program for her Baccalaureate Professional Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is expected to graduate in May 2018. She was Vice President of UC Clermont Paralegal Society for two years, as well as Vice President and Treasurer of UC Clermont Student Government.

Tina Sanders Reception / Asst. Paralegal

Tina assists several Senior Paralegals in their management of casework for large clients of the firm. In addition, she handles receiving duties and management of files for MU.

Mary Pettway Controller

Mary began with MU Law in 2015. She is MU Law’s Controller and is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other accounting functions.

Olivia Hagedorn Student Law Clerk

Olivia is full-time student at the University of Cincinnati -College of Law. She is expected to graduate in May 2018. She first began working as a student law clerk with MU Law in the summer of 2016. She continues to work with MU Law part-time during the school year and full time during the summers. Her work is focused on researching and writing legal documents for the MU Law legal team.

Jarod Garel Student Law Clerk

Jarod is a 3L at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and primarily works on assisting the attorneys with research and drafting. After graduating from Miami University with a degree in Political Science, Jarod joined the MU team in 2015.

Amanda Fercho Marketing Intern

Amanda is a senior at Miami University and is expected to graduate May 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Amanda began with MU in May 2017 and continues to work on various projects with the firm.
